Transportation: Germany & Benelux

My boyfriend and I are traveling together in Benelux & Germany. We arrive in Brussels and are planing to spend 9 days in Germany, 2 in Amsterdam, 1 in Bruge, 1 in Brussels. What type of train pass is best? From what I can find I think the Eurail Benelux - Germany Pass (2nd class). I would really appreciate any guidance. Also, this may be a dumb question, but when it says 10 days of travel in two months does it mean 10 consecutive days?

"when it says 10 days of travel in two months does it mean 10 consecutive days?" No, if it were, they would say "10 consecutive days". That's why it says "in 2 months". It's good for any 10 days you pick as long as the total span is 2 month or less. According to the Eurail website, www.eurail.com, "The Global Pass gives you unlimited train travel for 10 or 15 days of your choice, within an overall period of 2 months. Use your travel days when you want, and fill in the dates on the Travel Calendar yourself for ultimate flexibility." The two month period starts the day you activate your pass at a rail counter. Your pass will have 10 fields that you fill in with the month and day on any day you use the pass. Be particularly careful with sevens. The Europeans make a seven with a horizontal top bar and a one with a "drooping" top bar. They also put a cross bar in the seven to distinguish it from a one. If you make a seven that looks like a one, the conductor could claim that it is not today's date, and make you fill in the next field with the correct date, and you would lose a day.
