Transportation from Rome to Civitivechia for Cruise

Could someone suggest something. I'm at a loss. We are staying in Rome near the Termini station. There are 2 of us. I'm not sure if there are scheduled shuttles, or busses, or trains. Thanks so much in advance.

There is a train about every 30 minutes -- basicly a one hour commuter run. Short run is about 45 and longest is about 1 hr 15 -- dependent on the number to stops along the way. The train station in Civ is about a mile from the port entrance. An easy flat walk along the beach to the port entrance and a free shuttle should take you to your ship. We took a Holland Am out last year and are returning for a May 30th cruise.

Frank, thank you for such a prompt reply. After the LONG haul we will have made we will not want to do much walking. We are getting married July 21st, on a plane the next afternoon, arrive 7:20 am on the 23rd in Rome. Will kill ourselves the day with some site seeing, then our cruise leaves in the evening of the 24th! So once there you are suggesting there are free shittles to the cruise line? We are on Carnival. Thanks again!
