After touring Neuschwanstein, we would like to travel from Fussen to Como without doubling back to Munich first. Are there any options? Thanks!

brenda, To begin with, are you referring to the town of Como, or somewhere else on Lago di Como? That's going to be a VERY LONG DAY! The shortest trip I could find from Fussen to Milano Centrale was about 9H:45M with two changes (this didn't involve a trip back to Munich). Some of the trips on that route were considerably longer, with up to SIX changes. My suggestion would be to change your Itinerary, and perhaps plan an intermediate stop between Fussen and Como.
