Transportation from Casablanca airport to Rabat

Have you considered flying into Rabat? Give it some thought. It is a very easy airport handling international flights. However, the faster options appear to be taxi or private transfer and taking just over an hour. I used the private transfer because of the fixed price. I was trading from Rabat’s airport into the city.

Did you book with a tour company? Maybe they can offer some transportation suggestions, even if you’re doing that part on your own.

Or the hotel in Rabat. It’s in their best interest for you to get to them.

I already asked the tour company and, like another I have used, they no longer allow tour members who book their own flights to use (purchase) the tour airport transport. Thanks for the suggestion to contact the hotel in Rabat.

Your guide might contact you prior to the trip. It’s a great opportunity to get information on how to do the transfer yourself. I was in the same situation on past trips. Made my own way to the first hotel with info from guide. We were able to join the tour group back to the airport (larger tip to guide for that).

Very sorry that Rabat is not an option. I regularly have to secure my own transfer to/from the airport so I understand this dilemma. I have used Welcomepickups once before in another country and it worked seamlessly. I also just booked a transfer with them in Johannesburg for this June. While I’m not able to guarantee a future travel experience I’m am very happy with past performance. Having looked at many options I feel most comfortable with using that portal again. Additionally, I thoroughly enjoyed Morocco and my experiences there in March 2020 (as the country/world began to shutdown). Wishing you success and a phenomenal time.

We traveled through Morocco for a month several years ago. We used different types of transportation to get from one town to another and trains were one. Check Rome2Rio for options. Train from the airport is the recommended option. It involves a transfer in Casablanca but we did that with no problem. R2R also shows private transfer among the options and has a website link. I’m sorry I couldn’t be of more help.
