I am having a difficult time finding transportation from Algeciras to Granada for May 13. The guide books say that t here are several bus routes per day through Alsa. Sometimes I can find them listed but I can't purchase a ticket. I can't seem to get them by phone either. Any suggestions?

I see what you mean, and I've seen the Alsa site do this on other routes without learning the reason. But www.busbud.com can currently sell you tickets through April 29 so maybe try them next week.

It's very weird. BusBuds tells me that they don't sell tickets any more on that route. I may end up doing Bla Bla Car as the train is really quite long compared to the actual distance.

In 2015 we took the train from Granada to Algeciras. I am sure that you can take the train in the other direction. Due to work on the rail line part of the trip might be by coach, but the change from rail to coach is pretty transparent.

You're absolutely right. BusBud has told me this week that they only show trips two weeks out from the date. So I'm hoping that is the case. Two weeks ago they said they were going to stop showing those trips. I'll be checking this week!
