how to get from Rome to Paris
By car, by air, by train. When are you traveling? What is your budget?

martha, flights with Vueling or Easyjet can be very cheap if booked well in advance. I flew Paris to Rome a few years ago for 80 euros one way on Vueling. Avoid Ryan Air as they use a very remote airport for Paris.. A train can take 12 hours and not be as pleasant as your Orient Express fantasies. lol
Thanks. I plan to be on the Rome tour over in Dec., and would like to extend my trip with 2-3 nights in Paris. So, train vs. plane during that time.
At that time year, a plane makes the most sense. It would be faster anyway.
Fly easyJet, Vueling, or Iberia from FCO to ORY. Ryanair probably will have the lowest fare, but it uses outlying airports (Ciampino and Beauvais). Beauvais is a 90-minute bus ride from Paris.
