We are planning on spending a few days in London and flying home from there after our RS tour ends in Paris. What is the cheapest way to travel to London from Paris?
thanks for any help on this.

Absolute cheapest is by coach but that's pretty slow. Look on the Eurolines website. Other than that you need to do some advanced booking: the cheapest fares on Eurostar trains from London to Paris go on sale around 4 months in advance, and if you miss them you have to pay full fare. Also check budget airlines if you want to travel sooner than 4 months, although some people on this board seem to think that the days of cheap last-minute fares on budget airlines are over. However, if you are ending a tour in Paris and then going to London, remember that the cheapest fares on Eurostar, like budget airline fares, are for a specific journey time. If you're arriving in Paris and going to London on the same day, leave lots of connection time in case of delays on the previous leg.

As Philip says, to get the lowest fare, book your Eurostar tickets ASAP (up to 120 days in advance). If you book at eurostar.com, you can print your own tickets.
