Transportation, car or train

We are going to visit Liege Belgium , paris and strasbourg and on to final destination Koblenz, germany. I have no the time to drive vs the train and cost that is involved. We are 4 adults travelling to-gether. We only have a 3 day time frame mid-may/10 Thanks

Are you planning to fly into Paris, go to Liege, then to Strasbourg, and finally to Koblenz, all in three days? If you wish to spend one day in Paris, one day in Liege, and one day in Strasbourg PLUS allow time to travel between each city, then what you propose is impossible. You will need to cut one stop. The most logical one would be Liege.

If you let us know what your exact itinerary will be, we can tell you how and when to book train tickets. If you book well in advance, you can get discount fares.

You want to see Liege, Paris, Strasbourg, and Koblenz in 72 hours - is that right? You'll spend the bulk of your time moving between these places, whatever means of transport you choose. It's not worth going unless you're selling contraband along the way, but if that's what you're up to, take the train. It's faster than driving (who wants a car in Paris, anyway?)

I would skip Liege or add an extra day.Keep in mind there are often delays caused by events beyon.d the control of airlines, ete, especially in the world we live in now.A security flap could happen any time.Train is the fastest way to cover that much ground.Do your homework, have your trains, etc, routes mapped out before you leave home.I always get my train tickets within a few days.Good luck- chaz
