Transportation between Verona and Malpensa

We are two Seniors who will be leaving Verona For MXP for a flight to Amsterdam on Easy (Full) Jet in September. Any advice, tips, and suggestions on the best way to get thru Milan and to MXP?

Ed, depending on the time of your flight, getting to Malpensa from Verona is easy. Just catch a train to Milano Centrale train station. From there you can take shuttle buses to the airport. If you're flight is midday or later, you should have no trouble.

I hope that you don't have a flight out of MXP earlier than 10:00. The first train out of Verona departs at 05:40 and arrives at the Milan train station at 07:35. You're then looking at another hour by bus. I suggest that you should be at MXP for a flight to Amsterdam about 90 minutes early.

When we (both seniors)were there the airline agent suggested taking the bus to the RR station. We did that easily; so I would expect that when you arrive at the RR station from Verona, you can take the bus or train (whichever is more convenient for you). Go to the Tourist Information Office in the station and ask.

The problem with Carl's advice is that there is only a bus shuttle that goes from Milan Centrale train station to Malpensa.

The Malpensa Express train leaves from another train station = Milano Cardona, necessitating a subway ride if you want to go that way. That's why I recommended using the bus to go to Malpensa if coming from Verona by train.

Thanks to all. What we probably will do is take a Bus from Verona to Mxp. I found a shuttle service on the Mxp website, hopefully I will be able to make contact by Sept. If all fails we will take the train to Milan and then the Bus from Milan Central, which would make the trip easier and avoid the Station in Milan. Any comments? Thanks aagain.

That looks easy enough. It's a three hour trip.

But the train is easy, too. So you're in fine shape either way.
