Bla Bla Car?? Transportation Bern, Switzerland to Munich, Germany

Greetings fellow travelers,

I am currently researching the best way to get from Bern to Munich after our RS tour. It looks like anywhere from 5.5 to 10+ hours. Planes are spendy and out of Zurich I believe. Thinking either train or bus would be best but want the quickest time frame. While researching I found a company called BlaBla Car - it sounds like Uber or Lyft here in the states and cost the same or less than the train with a direct drive between cities-no transfers, ect.. Seriously considering it. Any travelers here used BlaBla? Any other ideas/advice on best/shortest way to travel this route?

I've never heard of BlaBla car service, but I did a quick search on sbb.ch. 5.5 hours. Planes are speedy once you get up in the air, but you have the travel time to and from the airport, the wait at the airport, security, etc.

Thanks for your reply LacLeman! I had not been to that site. Looking into it. I'm surprised none of the RS group has had experience with BlaBla Car; it seems to be quite popular in Europe!
