What is the cheapest way to travel from Greece to Tuscany at the end of July and from there to Konstanz, Germany and then probably back to Cologne, 12/07? I have been fortunate to have found cheaper airfare than rail for the last 2 trips I have planned. I have not found any cheap prices for eurail or other trains. Have I been lucky or am I missing something here?

airberlin.com fly from Rimini or Milan to Zurich, which is under an hour from Constance. Intersky.biz, another low cost carrier, offer very cheap flights from Friedrichshafen at lake Constance to Cologne. Alternatively you can check with Germanwings and Air Berlin for Zurich to Cologne.
