We will be in Interlaken four nights and Colmar for three nights. We would like to take a day trip to Triberg by rail. Which town would it be easier to reach Triberg from by rail? Which train and what connections do we need to take?

Use Bahn.com Not sure i understand question
Looks like it takes 2 hr 41 minutes with 2 connections in Strasbourg and Offenburg.

I agree that it would be good if you use the supplied link. Colmar is just across the river from Triberg, and a bit away. Interlaken is most of a country away and then a chunk away.
