We'll be flying into London Stansted and then taking the train to Cambridge. Would like any information on how close it is from the airport arrival area to the Stansted rail station. Would it just be within walking distance, for example?? Thanks.

Are you asking about the train station in the terminal or in the town of Stansted? The train into London from the airport is in the basement or lower level of the terminal.

I'm interested in the train that would go to Cambridge from Stansted. If the one being right in the terminal would go on to Cambridge that would make the transfer quite easy.

Depending upon the departure time, you can either take a direct train from the airport station to Cambridge or make one connection in Bishops Stortford.
