We do like trains You'd have to absolutely live, breath, eat and drink trains for that journey by train. The best one I can find involves nearly 40 hours of continuous travel including 2 night trains. The first night train across Portugal and Spain stops all night long at every anthill. For a bonus, you get 6 hours to get across Paris and wait for your train. Too much time to just sit around and too little time to do anything. I can't imagine how expensive that would be.
