Planning Toronto to Venice - need info on the best way to reach Dobrovnik.

Dubrovnik from Venice or from Toronto? I will assume from Venice. The best way is to fly. Croatia airlines has a direct non stop from VCE to DBV (seasonal). EasyJet has also a seasonal non stop from Milan-Malpensa (MXP) to DBV. Any other flying option would require a lay over somewhere. The land option would require going to Trieste and take a bus from Trieste to Dubrovnik. I've seen a question regarding that option in the recent past on this board. I remember that it was a very long bus ride from Trieste, maybe with a change somewhere. I wouldn't bother, time is money. Fly.
