We are catching our return flight home from Malpensa. Our flight is at 10:20am. We plan to stay in a hotel near the train station and take the shuttle bus to the airport. How much time should we allow to get to the airport and how early do we need to check in at that airport? I'm looking at two hotels: Hotel Berna and Hotel Charly. Anybody have any info on them? Thanks a lot.

We used Berne a couple years ago -- it was fine. Second the shuttle is about an hour run. Third, I would be there no later than 8:20 and would probably shoot for around 8 AM depending on the shuttle schedule.

There are 2 terminals at Malpensa so you need to know which of them your flight leaves from. You can find information here:
