hi
i was looking at the db bahn website looking for trains from Garmisch-Partenkirchen to munich train station for a flight at 07:05 the earliest i can get a train is 23:04 which will get me into the airport about 01:19 so was wondering if it's best to get a bus if so can somebody help me get times of buses

Your best bet for a flight that early would be to go to Munich the night before. You need to be at the airport close to 5:00 so the closer to airport the better.
The trains don't run very much in the middle of the night because almost no one wants to use them then.
My suggestion would be to stay in Freising. There is a 17 minute bus leaving from the Freising Bahnhof to the airport 4:05 and 4:45, arriving at the airport at 4:22 and 5:02.
You could stay near the Hbf in Munich, but the trip is 40 minutes. The S-Bahn starts running every 20 minutes at 3:35, but the long trip from the Hbf to the airport means getting up awfully early.
