We need to go from Friedberg, Germany to Frankfurt Hahn airport to stay at a hotel for one night, so we can fly to Rome Italy the next day. How can we get to
Hahn Airport? We are first time visitors in Europe.

First, you realize that, although they call themselves "Frankfurt Hahn" airport, Hahn airport is actually a small, regional airport about as close to Luxembourg as it is to Frankfurt. Using the German Rail webite, you can get schedules. Most show a regional train (S-bahn) to Frankfurt and the bus to Hahn.

Thank you. We will have to find out exactly where we will be in Friedberg and where we need to be in Hahn. Thanks for helping to put together some of the pieces

Hahn's website, www.hahn-airport.de, under "getting there" has information about the bus (times and fares), maybe also about expensive hotels in the area.
