Transport Czech to Switzerland

We are a family of 4 wanting to travel from Prague Czech to Bern Switzerland. What airline or train would you recommend? It would be a one way trip. What are your suggestions. I was thinking of a night train.
Thank you

There is a direct City Nightline train that leaves Prague at 6:30pm and arrives in Basel at 8am. From Basel just hop on a regular inter-city train to Bern; an hour away. I've used city night line in the past and have found their 1st class deluxe sleeper cabins to be very comfortable. For more details head here: http://www.citynightline.ch

Judy, Using the Nightline train suggested in the first reply is probably your best option for a group of four. I had a brief look at flight options from Prague to Bern, and there didn't seem to be any good budget choices available. The only reasonably priced flights that seem possible are with EasyJet from Prague to Lyon (France) - flight time 1H:45M . From there you'd have to take the train to Bern (minimum 3H:48M with one change at Geneve). Easyjet doesn't operate flights every day on that route, but only on alternating days, and fares are currently at €49 - €90 PP. Happy travels!

Alternatively there's a bus from Prague to Munich and there are flights from Munich to Berne...
