I am swapping houses for 2 weeks with a family from Saint Fargeau Ponthierry southeast of Paris, and will travel to and from Paris each day. Is anyone familiar with S.F.Ponthierry, and can you advise me on how best to get Paris?

Brenda, I'm not familiar with it, but 2 minutes with Google tells me that it's on RER line D and it's around an hour from there to Gare de Lyon, or at least it is at this time on a Friday evening.
