Transfer Time Between Gare du Nord and Gare de Lyon in Paris

I've never had to change trains in Paris so here's my question to those who have. The time between my Eurostar arriving at Gare du Nord and the time my TGV leaaves Gare de Lyon is 50 minutes. Enough time to get between the two assuming I take RER D? Or am I cutting it close?

RER D will be the quickest route - look for the direction Corbeil-Essonnes

During peak hours this train runs every 4 minutes. Travel time to Gare de Lyon in total will be 15 minutes including walking to the platforms etc. Only two one stop between Nord et Lyon (Chatelet).

Follow the signs for the Grand Lignes.

The travel time on the RER D from Gare du Nord to Gare de Lyon is eight minutes. Trains run about every 15 minutes. Of course you have to allow for the time it takes to get below ground, wait for the next train, and get back above ground.
