Transfer time at FRA Air to Rail

Would like to hear what the collective wisdom is about this possible travel plan.

Arrive FRA ( on Condor), from PDX at 11:10. ( Friday in May)

Would like to take the 13:43 train from FRA to Amsterdam Centraal. Given the usual caveats of "if the plane is on time"..... does this plan have a realistic chance of being successful?

The walk up train fare is ~110E--- advance purchase is ~60E. Obviously would like the lower train fare., and it (the 13:43 time) is a 'no changes' trip

( No, due to FF miles quirks, I cannot fly to AMS)

Thank you

With 2.40 it a reasonable chance. Even if a little late and long lines. I have done that a number of times. But it did catch up with me a couple years ago when the original flight was cancelled. The risk is 60 E. Two to one payoff. Fair gamble.

Does Condor do Rail&Fly with FF miles? I think it is only 34€ pP. If so, use it. I'm not sure if Rail&Fly with Condor covers all the way to Amsterdam, or just to the last station in Germany, but it's not time dependent, i.e., it's valid for any train, any time, that day or the next.

BTW, it's never taken me more than an hour to get from the gate to the Fernbahnhof, but I've been an hour late arriving twice.

Ain't FF miles great!

Check Condor's on time rate. I think they average 45 minute delays for arrivals. This May our PDX to FRA Condor flight arrival was 23 hours late.

I allow 3-4 hours to catch a train from a European airport including FRA. I've only flown DL so I have no experience with the on-time performance of Condor.
