I am arriving at Heathrow at terminal 3 and have to get my bags and go through customs and then go to terminal 5 for a flight on British airways to Toulouse. Is there a connector bus once you have gotten your luggage, or are there taxis that will take me to terminal 5?

It is too bad you have to collect your bags and transfer them yourself, as it means you will have to go through immigration, and the lines can be long. It took us an hour for just that step. But the good news is that you can use the Heathrow Express, for free, to transfer from T3 to T5 since you are not staying Airside.
