Transalantic Cruise

This may be a little off topic for Rick Steves', but we are leaving Barcelona at the end of October, on a repositioning cruise to Fort Lauderdale. Does anyone know what the weather will be like, temperature, ect? Thanks

You might try checking on www.cruisecritic.com. They are all about cruises, and you can probably find information about repositioning cruises - probably even the exact one you are taking.

We do this every year only usually going the other direction. Weather will probably tend towards rain but then again, could be bright blue skies. Weather Spring/Fall is always problematic but clearly we enjoy being at sea for 8/10 days. There's as much or as little to do as you wish. On Celebrity at least they have a series of great lectures covering a wide range of topics/interests, there's jazz, spa cuisine, gym and the ultimate way to beat jet lag! I always shed a couple pounds on these cruises. As an extra bonus the people who take this type of cruise are generally well traveled with lots of stories and information to share. The guests do seem to be generally older (who else has the time), 55 to 70, but they're generally enjoying life and are pretty active.
