trains to Naples from airport

we are arriving in Rome on 9/25 am, is there a train from the airport that we can take directly to Naples & then transfer to train or bus to Sorrento? I know there is a train from Rome termi station, direct to Naples, but do I have to go to Rome to travel or can I eliminate a step. I would like to trave 1st class on the train, so I can reserve our seats. Any advice. Thank you all.

No, you cannot go directly from Fiumicino to Naples. Take the Leonardo Express (runs every 30 minutes) from Fiumicino to Termini and take a EuroStar Italia train from there to Napoli Centrale. All seats, 2nd class as well as 1st class, are reserved on ES trains. IMO, 1st class is not worth the extra money. You can buy your tickets for Rome-Naples at the airport when you buy your tickets for the Leonardo Express.
