Trains, Planes, Beer

My husband and I are flying into Frankfurt in September for Octoberfest. We are planning on taking a train to Munich. How much time should we allow for landing (no checked bags), getting through customs, finding the train station (I'm assuming the long distance one?) and should we book our train tickets now (risk the plane being late) or are they not likely to fill up, even with Oktoberfest traffic? If we do buy the train tickets ahead, does anybody have experience with Bahn.de-- the tickets being delivered to the station? Or should we pay an arm and a leg to go through RailEurope and have the tickets delivered here? Thanks to anyone who made it through this post!!

I can only answer one small part of your question: I just made train reservations at bahn.de and printed the tickets out at home. It was pretty straightforward and no delivery charge! Also no waiting in line at the station--we're ready to board.
