Hi, we're traveling from Rome to Florence and from Florence to Venice (on Dec 28 and Jan 1, respectively). We're debating whether or not we should purchase our point to point tickets online in advance or if we'll be ok purchasing them once we arive in Rome on Dec. 20th. Any tips or advice? Thanks!

By your tickets for the next leg of your trip when you arrive in a city or the day before you leave from any travel agent in any place in any city in Italy. I have been traveling to Italy since 1951 and have never bought a ticket in advance. Never.
