Trains from Terneuzen to Denmark

Cruise ending in Amsterdam. We need to go to Terneuzen for business then thought maybe up to Denmark for a couple of days. Are there trains handy to do this? Is it worth the trip or better to stay in Belgium & Netherlands?

Terneuzen is only accessible by crap bus service from Middelburg or Zelzate (across the border in Belgium). You can go to Denmark, but by all means to this trip by plane from Bruxelles or Amsterdam.
