Trains From Rome to Naples and Bari

We are traveling in Italy mid to late November and have a few questions about train service:
1.) Is the train trip from Rome to Naples about 2 hours and from Naples to Bari about 4 1/2 hours?
3.) In Naples how do we arrange to get from the city to Pompeii?

All insights are appreciated---Thanks!

We took both the low and fast train to and from Naples, about one and half to two hours. Liked the slow train better, had private compartments and also about one fourth the cost even though took about half hour longer. Be sure to validate your ticket in Rome before boarding or pay a hefty fine, validation stand is yellow and is just as you start to go down track. From Naples, train to Pompeii is a local train and takes about half hour I think. It is in the same train station. Once you get off train, only about 1/4 mile walk to the site. Enjoy.

Like the previous poster said, there is a few options from Rome to Naples, some trains are faster than others. I also took a slower train because i did not want to pay more. We also traveled in 2nd class and that was good enough for us.

From Naples to Pompei you will have to transfer to the
Circumvesuviana train, which is located downstairs of Naples Central station, just follow the signs. It will take about 35 minutes to get to the Pompei, get out at Pompeii scavi villa misteri station.

I took the train from Naples to Bari in 2008. As I recall, the trip took about 4 hours. I took a local train from Naples central station to Caserta (3-5 per hour) where I connected with the Rome-to-Bari Eurostar. Also, the Circumvesuviana runs at least twice hourly between Naples central station and Pompei. It has about 3 different routes, so make sure the train you board in Naples stops at Pompei Scavi. All trains going to Sorrento stop there, but not certain about the others. All return trains will stop at Naples central station.

Can I ask how much the slower trains cost? I looked on the Trenitalia website and couldn't find the information. The only fare I can find from Rome to Naples are the Eurostar trains, which cost about 44 Euros in late November, or the "IC" trains that cost about 25 Euros. The regional trains seem to take longer but if it's significantly less, I would opt for that.
Thanks.
