Leaving Milan around 6 pm---would it be best to go to Levanto or to LaSpezia? Tight connections in LaSpezia--9:19 arrival and 9:23 departure on local train to Vernazza. Levanto arrival would be 8:59 pm but cannot find train schedule to Vernazza---any ideas??

There is a train leaving Milano Centrale at 18:05. You have to change train only in Monterosso. You got 28 minutes for that. You can find this connection and many others on Deutsche Bahn website.

Make sure your lodgings in Vernazza are OK with the late arrival. Many expect you to check in by 1700!
