I am trying to take the most direct route from Lake Maggiore to the Cote D'azure. The nearest airports are Milan and Marseilles but direct flights don't seem to exist. I am wondering if there is a train route that may be quicker and easier. Toulon and Aix en Provence may then be destination options?
