We are planning a "Norway in a Nutshell" fjord trip and trying to organize our transportation. We plan to do the Flam-Gudvangen Fjord Cruise and then take the Gudvangen bus to Voss. Does anyone know how long this takes? We want to make reservations for the Voss-Oslo train but don't have any idea of what time we might arrive in Voss. Any ideas? Thanks Jeanne

I wouldn't try to book this on my own. Go to www.fjordtours.no and book on line or call their offices in Norway. They can handle all the connections (train, bus, and boat), and it will actually be a little cheaper than if you booked them yourself. Also, if you can break up the trip by staying in Flam or Aurland overnight, it will be more enjoyable.
