So, i need advise:
I have a Eurail pass that covers Austria, Germany, Italy and Amsterdam. I am plannin on visiting Prague in the Czech Repub. coming from Vienna. Whats the best way of taking advantage of my pass in this directions?
Also, after prague i am going to Munich, which is a longgg train ride, the idea came about to do a night train and save on accomodation. How would this also work with my pass??
For Vienna-Prague, buy a ticket in Vienna that will cover the portion of the trip from the Czech border to Prague.
For the Prague-Munich night train, go to http://buchung.nachtzugreise.de and click on the British flag. Enter your departure and arrival points. From the drop-down menu choose "Accommodation surcharge only, ticket exits." Choose your travel date. Choose the type of accommodation you wish. Book and pay. When you get to Prague, buy a ticket that will cover you as far as the German border.
