Hi, we are flying in to Zurich and our RS tour begins in Lucerne. I'd like to have train tickets in hand, but what if our flight is late? Is it much cheaper to purchase tickets in advance or can we wait until we arrive in Zurich? Any advice? Thanks!

Wait until you arrive at Zurich airport. Trains are frequent and direct. There is no advantage to purchasing in advance.

Finding a seat should not be a problem. Tomorrow's trains are showing very light expected occupancy, and that is a Friday. There is a direct train every hour at 47 past the hour. Connections at other times.

Just buy a ticket when you arrive and pop on the first train.

For this train, no, so just buy your ticket when you get there, and get on the next train.
