I've already purchased my train ticket from York to Stirling, with a change in Edinburgh traveling on October 12.
My plans have changed, and I am no longer going to York. Now, I will be traveling from Edinburgh to Stirling on the 12th instead. My question is, can I still use the ticket I've already bought?
Here are the specifics of my ticket:
9:54 York, arrive Edinburgh Waverly 12:21 on LNER
12:33 Edinburgh Waverly to Stirling on ScotRail
I'm thinking I can still use the second portion of my ticket, but not sure if train tickets are similar to airline tickets where if you miss a portion of the trip, the entire ticket could be cancelled.
I could buy a new ticket from Edinburgh to Stirling, they are only about 10 pounds, so it's not breaking the bank, but just thought I'd use my current ticket if possible. I don't want to risk any kind of fine though, so maybe it's best just to buy a new ticket. What are your thoughts?
