My son & I will be going from Prague to Barcelona in mid-June. I'm challenged by all the train & plane schedules & prices. Any help appreciated!

It's a very long trip by rail. Unless you'd want to make stops along the way, you might be best financially and schedule to fly.

Jane, As the previous reply mentioned, that's a VERY LONG trip by train (about 24-hours with as many as six changes). IMO, that would only be a good travel method if you'll be making intermediate stops to break the trip into shorter legs. The least expensive and most efficient travel method is via budget airline. Have a look at www.whichbudget.com for further details. Vueling appears to have flights in mid-June starting at €90, but I'd suggest booking SOON as the prices often increase as the flight fills. Be sure to read the Terms & Conditions carefully so you're fully aware of the charges, etc. There are several other airlines listed as well. Good luck and happy travels!
