Train travel -Paris to Brussels to Amstrerdam in Jun

Is it gest to prebook (from US) train travel from Paris to Brussels and Brussels to Amsterdam, or should we wait until we get there? Seems like I read that these destinations are all served by hi-speed rail, therefore making reservations from US is best option. That is fine but I'd prefer to wait until I get there, if possible, to give me a bit more flexibility. I'd appreciate hearing pros & cons.
Thanks in advance.

Pros of prebooking: MUCH MUCH cheaper fares (if you do it far enough in advance). Cons of prebooking: you are locked in to a particular train. Pros of waiting until you are there: You have flexibility.
Cons of waiting until you are there: The train you want may be sold out. You will pay a LOT more. Your choice.

To see the price difference for advance purchase and to evaluate the risk of a sold out train, look at your routes for tomorrow and then for early June, on www.thalys.com.
