Train Travel (Overnight)

My wife and I are going to Spain, France, and Italy for a month in June. We purchased a Eurail Selectpass Saver (1st class, 11 days in 2 months) for our travels. However, I'm really confused about how to book overnight trains.

I need to book an overnight train from Barcelona to Paris, Paris to Nice, Sorrento to Venice. I've been reading most of the posts and it looks like RailEurope appears to be the only option?

"it looks like RailEurope appears to be the only option".

That's grim.

However, try Euraide, www.euraide.com. They get you night train reservations at European prices. However, they also charge $50 (per order) for the service.

Just in case you aren't aware of it, Trenitalia trains do not run to Sorrento. Circumvesuviana trains run from Naples to Sorrento, but your railpass will not be good on them. You can take a SITA bus to Salerno, then a bus run by Trenitalia to Termoli, then a night train to Venice. Or you can take a night train from Naples to Venice. See the timetables at www.bahn.de. Click on the drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner for English. After you get summary timetables for either Salerno-Venezia Santa Lucia or Napoli-Venezia Santa Lucia, click on "Details for all" to see the connecting points. Since the Circumvesuviana is a private railroad, its timetables do not appear on the Bahn site.
