Train travel from Venice to Barsalona

Could you recommend which train to take from Venice to Barsalona. I am aware of the hotel train. Are there other trains?

All I can see is an 18hr trip via Milan, Torino and Perpignan in France. You could take day train to the southern part of France and then transfer to trains going to Spain but you won't save any time and there will be more train changes. Just the one change in Milan to a night train. Another option is to fly from Venice to Barcelona on www.vueling.com. I see fares as low as 39.99 Euros in Sept and Oct. If this is an attractive option, please read the travel conditions carefully - especially the areas on luggage size and weight as well as check in time.

Be aware that EN 11274 (the direct EuroNight train from Milan to Barcelona) only runs Monday-Wednesday-Friday. Besides, Vueling, you could fly non-stop from VCE (Marco Polo) to Barcelona on Alitalia, Iberia, or Air One. You could fly non-stop from TSF (Treviso) to Barcelona on Ryanair. For all your flight options, see the search engine skyscanner.com.

Unless you really want to do the train ride for the train ride,, I would look at flights.. as suggested Vueling is a decent airline( using them myself again this summer) and Easyjet is fine too( using them for first time this summer). Be careful with Ryanair, they use remote airports that can add alot of commuting time and cost.
