I've tried to check the train schedule but can't seem to get out of Germany. Is there another schedule besides the DB to get to Prague and on? I wanted to print them out before we leave.
DB will only sell you tickets that originate or terminate in Germany (you can, however, still look up timetables for routes entirely outside of Germany). Try the Czech Railways or Austrian rail website for tickets from Prague to Austria. Czech Railways International Connections: https://www.cd.cz/eshop/international/info.aspx ; Austrian rail: http://www.oebb.at/en/index.jsp
If all you want is the schedule, not fares, DB is probably the best place to go. However, the DB website doesn't allow you to use "Germany" as a starting point. From where are you starting, Munich, Nürnberg, ? . . . . . ¶ You can put in "Prague" as the destination, but it will change it to the correct name "Praha hl.n." (hl.n. is the main station in Praha, vs Holesovice). I put in Munich Hbf to Praha and got a page full of connections. . . . . ¶ For Vienna, I think that you can use that name, but properly, it's "Wien".
