We are traveling from Florence to Innsbruck and have
a connection in Bologna that only gives us 9 minutes to change trains. Do you think that is enough time? Another option is to go through Padova and we have 19 minutes to change trains there but the travel time is an hour longer.
What exact day and time of day are you looking at? The only connection times I can come up with in Bologna are more like 40 minutes, and most trains connect elsewhere...so we're not comparing apples and oranges.
Janie, Which source are you using for rail information? I found similar results to those Eileen mentioned. The quickest and easiest route was a train departing Florence SMN at 10:30, arriving Innsburck at 16:32 (time 6H:02M, one change at Bologna Centrale - the change time is 39-minutes).
