help, I'm going to italy the end of feb. thur middle of march. would like to travel thur switzerland (not getting off) to france out of germany. We have used eurail several times. Is there a book on travel schedules and the best ticket to purchase?
Thomas Cook publishes a complete European rail timetable, updated monthly:
http://www.thomascookpublishing.com/series.htm?series=Timetables
You could also try the websites of the national passenger rail companies for information.
Finally, if you dig around the internet, from time to time individuals will post a PDF of rail time tables from Thomas Cook or other sources on their personal websites. Because these PDFs are uusually propriatory information, they are usually quickly pulled down, but you may get lucky and find one.
For schedules on the continent you can't beat the German Rail website.
I presume you mean you have used Eurail passes? There is no such thing as a Eurail train.
