I plan to travel by train from Paris through the Alps and into Italy. Can you tell me the most scenic route?

Thanks for the info. I'm thinking Bern to Madrid and on to Genoa. Do you know that route?

Madrid is in Spain, far from the Alps. Possibly you mean Milan? Actually, if I were doing this, I might go from Bern to Luzern, using the Bruenig line, then down to Milan using the Gotthard line, then to Genoa.

Thanks. Yes I did mean Milan. I said Madrid as I plan to also go there. Thanks for the tip I'll check out your route.
