Train transportation

We are planning to leave Milan on May 19 going to Tirano to catch the Bernina Express to Chur and then on to Zurich by train. We have hotel reservations in Zurich that night. What train do we use. Need to leave from Milano Centrale Station. Need train info and pricing for each leg of the trip.

According to the timetables on the Swiss Rail site, these are your options: Milano Centrale-Tirano-St Moritz-Chur-Zuerich, departing at 06:20 and arriving at 16:23. The Tirano-St Moritz leg will be on the Bernina Express. Milano Centrale-Tirano-Chur-Zuerich, departing at 10:20 and arriving at 19:53. The Tirano-Chur leg will be on the Bernina Express. Buy your Milano-Tirano tickets in Milan. As Sam indicated, the fare is €11.05. You can book your tickets for Tirano-Zuerich on the Swiss Rail site. The 2nd class fare is 88 CHF.
