train to bayeux

WE are arriving at the CDG airport at 11:15 a.m. and then need to catch a train to bayeux at the St. Lazare Station, but don't have a clue where it is or how to get there. Any help you can give us will be greatly appreciated as we are definitely country bumpkins and on a tight budget besides. thank you so much---wishing

Swan, be nice. Not everyone has Rick's books.

Hang in there Corrine. Someone will probably post a response that will tell you exactly how to get to St. Lazare Station. I have been there but forgot. If not all you have to do is ask at the Help window at Gare du Nord.

Good Luck. Enjoy your trip.

CDG has two RER stations. If you're arriving at Terminal 2, take the RER B line (suburban train) from the CDG 2 TGV RER station. If you're arriving at Terminal 1, take the free CDGVAL driverless shuttle train to the CDG 1 RER station and pick up a RER B line train there. Take the train to Gare du Nord, walk through the connecting tunnels to the Magenta RER station, and take the RER E line to Haussmann-St Lazare. Walk to Gare St Lazare. One ticket, which includes all transfers, costs €8.40.

Tim is sooo good at this. CLICK HERE to see a map to follow Tim's instructions. The Metro RER B line is light blue and CDG is at the upper right. The Metro RER E line is the magenta line
