Train time table Genoa Brignole to Ventimiglia

We bought train tickets (and received them) for 31 May over the internet from Genoa Brignole to NiceVille via Ventimiglia. However there is no departure time on the ticket and rail Europe's time tables only shows departure from Genoa Piazza station. The 2 stations are about 5 km apart. Are they different trains. How do we get departure times for ou train leaving from Brignole station?

I'm certainly no expert, but I am interested in this because I may try to make the same trip in June. I don't use RailEurope, for the reasons many on this board and elsewhere will tell you. I have good luck with www.bahn.de the german site. It's available in English. Try that, for the date of your trip. I just entered Genova Brignole as my departure station and Nice Ville as my destination, on www.bahn.de, and several trains show up. When I began typing Genova in the departure field, the usual drop down list of choices popped up, including GENOVA (bahn.de's generic "all stations" choice), Genova Brignole, and Genova Piazza Principe, among others. So all the possibilities appear to be available on the bahn.de site. You should be able to find yours. I also checked "intermediate stops" for a couple of the morning trains from Brignole. Guess what I found: all the ones I checked stop at Piazza right after they leave Brignole! You may be able to skip transfering to a distant station if you're starting from closer to Piazza. Just a thought... The bahn.de site also shows which trains do and do not require advance reservations. You should take note of that also. The last thought I have is that since some of the trains I found do not require reservations, and your ticket has no specific times on it, perhaps you have an unrestricted ticket that just allows you to get on and go, as long as you get on a train that does not require advance resv. Good luck.
