I called the train line about some questions and he offered to help me buy my ticket over the phone. after giving my info he said there were no reservations available but I could still get a ticket and get on the "D" coach....?? I have no idea what that means and when I asked for an explanation he was quiet and talked like I was from outter space. OK, maybe I should know more about train travel here in England but I'm from a small town in NH and have never done this before. Being ignorant isn't an excuse I guess.
I just wanted to know what it meant to not be able to have a reservation but still get a ticket?? whats the difference- can I get bumped off, do I stand? is it 1st come?? dugh....hugh?
