I would like to purchase tickets for train travel from Munich to Venice at bahn.de. However, I can't figure out how to purchase tickets for 6 people. It only allows you to put in 5 passengers. My 13 year old daughter will be one of the passengers and I believe will travel for free but still needs a reservation. We are also considering trying the night train with reservations in a 6 person couchette (we would occupy our own compartment), but again I can't figure out how you purchase tickets with reservations for 6 people. I would like to purchase ASAP to take advantage of saver fares and I understand that the night train is very popular. I would appreciate any help.

I believe your 13 y.o. will only be free if she does not have a bed of her own. Then you would only occupy five beds, not the entire couchette. At her age, they may require you to have a youth ticket (and bed) for her anyway.
If you book on the City Night Line webpage, http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en, they allow you to book for 6 travelers.
