Train Tables

Does anyone know why I can't see a train schedule from Milan to Lecco past June 10th? I have looked at many different train schedules (DBahn, Trenord, Rail Europe, etc.) I know it exists, but have no clue why I can't see it past June 10th???

Thanks in advance.

BECAUSE the schedule have not been posted past June 10th. You have been around this site for awhile so I am sure you have read that schedule changes occur twice a year. Should be posted very soon. Also, the Regional trains are the last to be posted. If you want to see the schedule, plug in a date prior to June 10th.

Actually I really never knew they were only posted that way because I have never had this issue before. Learn something everyday. Thanks.

Well while you're here learning about train schedules also know that Rail Europe is NOT EVER the place to look for accurate scheduling or pricing.

threadwear, use the Trenitalia (Italy's national rail system) website:

http://www.trenitalia.com/tcom-en

While schedules will be reloaded for dates after June 10th, they usually don't change very much. If you know what day of the week you'll be traveling, just choose that same day of the week for a date prior to June 10 to see what schedules will most probably look like.

The fastest trains between Milano Centrale and Lecco are direct regionales taking around 39 minutes, and current prices are around 4,80 euro. You can very easily just purchase these tickets at Centrale on the day of your journey, no need to buy them in advance.

Thanks Tim. I discovered that about Rail Europe before. Don't usually use them, but had trouble with the others so went there as well. Appreciate it.
