I have heard there may be a train strike in Paris on May 26 or 27th,, apparently it is thought RER and Metro may go out in "sympathy"
Anyone know more,, do you think they will completely stop RER from CDG to Paris, or go on a reduced schedule,, should I book a private car( taxis will be busy)..

er Steve,, I do know how to use RER to get into Paris, done so many times already,, I was trying to find out more current information on the job action being planned. Have you seen anything in local papers etc..

Based on what I read on another forum the RER/Metro strike is scheduled for just the 27th.
No gurantees, but...
I was there on other time during a "greivance" and while the RER did run from and to CDG it was VERY slow and not near as often. (and packed!!!!) I think they try to keep that train running.
